Innov-X는 가장 최근에 나온 휴대용 XRF 합금
분석기이다. 이 장비는 방사성 동위원소 대신에
소형 X-ray 튜브를 사용하므로 소스를 교체하
거나 방사선 라이센스의 번거로움을 피할 수 
있다. Innov-X는 어느 곳에나 위험물 취급을
받지 않고 휴대하거나 선적할 수 있다. 
 
포켓용 PC 소프트웨어는 합금 분석에 있어 엄청난 유연성을 가져다 준다. 특징으로서는 사용자가 라이브러리를 편집할 수 있고, 사용자가 정하는 분석 및 선별 방법, 다양한 데이터 입력, 데이터 베이스에 결과를 다운 로딩 및 보고서 작성을 할 수 있다. 이러한 장점으로 Innov-X는 가장 경제적이면서도 가장 친근하게 사용할 수 있는 장비가 될 것이다.
